| no more room for this reset sequence, it sets <b>errno</b> |
| to <b>E2BIG</b> and returns (size_t)(-1). Otherwise it |
| increments <i>*outbuf</i> and decrements |
| <i>*outbytesleft</i> by the number of bytes |
