  "message": "PR #2154: debugging: define ElfW when the target has no \u003clink.h\u003e\n\nImported from GitHub PR https://github.com/abseil/abseil-cpp/pull/2154\n\nFixes #2153.\n\n  Per review: instead of disabling `ABSL_HAVE_ELF_MEM_IMAGE` on targets without a dynamic loader, define `ElfW` ourselves when `\u003clink.h\u003e` is missing. newlib ships `\u003celf.h\u003e`, so that is enough to build.\n\n  Two details differ from the snippet in the review. `__SIZEOF_POINTER__ \u003d\u003d 8` replaces the architecture list, which covers ppc64/s390x/mips64/loongarch64 as well. And the FreeBSD branch keeps  `defined(__FreeBSD__)`: `__ELF_NATIVE_CLASS` is a glibc macro, and by the time we reach this block glibc\u0027s `\u003clink.h\u003e` has already defined `ElfW`, so it would never fire — while FreeBSD would silently lose `__ElfN`.\n\n  The platform deny-list is untouched.\n\n  Verified: `elf_mem_image.cc` and `vdso_support.cc` compile under `arm-none-eabi-g++`, and the host is unchanged — `ElfW` still comes from `\u003clink.h\u003e` there.\nMerge ba01560b869bd213159bdaaaf22239372d94827f into 7f008af1930f59d869a816795ac5d445e3628e4d\n\nMerging this change closes #2154\n\nPiperOrigin-RevId: 989011512\nChange-Id: I11ed246fc5e6da54555dd4eb48c4614be8990731\n",
