| Overview |
| |
| This extension adds an precision hint for scaling and biasing |
| arithmetic. For large scale factors, hinting GL_NICEST produces the |
| most accurate results. The hint only applies to Octane2 VPro |
| graphics systems, to work around a hardware issue. |

| |
| If the <target> argument of Hint is specified as SCALEBIAS_HINT, |
| then the <hint> argument indicates the desired precision of |
| geometric transformations around the near clip plane (XXX - is this |
| really what's going on?). The NICEST hint trades off performance for |
| increased clip accuracy. |
