can be used to query the execution status of the read command. When the read
command has completed, the contents of the buffer that <varname>ptr</varname>
points to can be used by the application.

values are the same, where <varname>host_ptr</varname> is a pointer to the
memory region specified when the buffer object being read is created with
<constant>CL_MEM_USE_HOST_PTR</constant>, must meet the same requirements given for
<citerefentry><refentrytitle>clEnqueueReadBuffer</refentrytitle></citerefentry>.

Calling <function>clEnqueueWriteBufferRect</function> to update the latest
bits in a region of the buffer object with the <varname>ptr</varname> argument
value set to <varname>host_ptr</varname> and <varname>host_origin</varname>,

is a pointer to the memory region specified when the buffer object being written
is created with <constant>CL_MEM_USE_HOST_PTR</constant>, must meet the following
requirements in order to avoid undefined behavior:

the function is executed successfully. Otherwise, it returns one of the following errors:
